Non-musical Mystery
October 18 - November 2, 2024
By Frederick Knott
Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service.
Tony Wendice has married his wife, Margot, for her money and now plans to murder her for the same reason. He arranges the perfect murder. He blackmails a scoundrel he used to know into strangling her for a fee of one thousand pounds, and arranges a brilliant alibi for himself. Unfortunately for Tony, with a surprise twist of events, he must concoct a new plan to rid him of his wife. Luckily, the police inspector from Scotland Yard and a young man who is in love with the wife discover the truth, and in a scene of almost unbearable suspense they must attempt to trap the husband into revealing his guilt.
'Dial M for Murder' was a huge hit onstage in both London and New York in 1952. Two years later, Alfred Hitchcock adapted the celebrated play, into a film that is still regarded as a masterpiece of its genre.
'Dial M' is not a typical who-dun-it. We know in the first fifteen minutes who the guilty party is—and the question is will-they-get-away-with-it?
I have directed the show twice before, but many years ago. I am pleased to work on it once more with such a talented cast.
Enjoy the show—and, please, send your friends to join us.

Hoping to keep an asthmatic child of the 60's entertained on the couch, Mom enrolled me in "Craft of the Month." Much to her dismay, the result was me repurposing my new tangerine orange swimsuit into a babydoll dress. Since my 1st machine at age 10, sewing is still my happy place. Thanks for all the support from family and friends.
