At Home with Michael & Ginny - March 28

At Home with Michael & Ginny

After a wonderful homecoming last Fall, Myers Dinner Theatre is thrilled to welcome back former Artistic Director, Michael Moyer, and one of our most tenured alumni, Ginny Pugh Spillman for another fun-filled evening of nostalgia!  Enjoy a great meal, then sit back and sing along to some of the most well known tunes in all of Musical Theatre, being sung by two of our most prolific Alumni.  They will be joined by three MDT audience favorites, Preston Dildine, Linnea Leatherman and Gracie Lorton.  (March 28)

Miss Nelson Has a Field Day

Return to Horace B. Smedley School where the Smedley Tornadoes have never won a football game. In fact, they have never even scored a single point! With such a poor record and a team that is out of control, kind-hearted Miss Nelson comes to the rescue when she enlists the help of her alter ego, the ill-tempered Miss Viola Swamp, to coach the team and whip them into shape. Considered by all to be “the meanest substitute teacher in the whole world,” Coach Swamp applies her trademark discipline to the players’ training, demanding tough exercises and no back talk. A fun-filled musical from the award winning playwright/composer who brought you DIARY OF A WORM, A SPIDER & A FLY. (May 9 & 16)

Triumphant is the face of quality Gospel Music, Christian integrity, family values, friendship and dedication. Their smooth harmonies, and rich quartet sound quickly gained them national attention, recognition and concert demand. Triumphant Quartet has had six #1 songs and several others have climbed the Top 40 music charts. They have also received four album of the year as well as three song of the year, which has also contributed to their popularity. Gospel music fans agree that the triumphant sound is distinctive, solid quartet singing. Audiences will find themselves smiling, laughing, crying, encouraged and uplifted. And most of all, they will walk away having had the Gospel Message presented to them in a powerful way, with a hope that many will receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the focus of Triumphant. He is the reason they sing.  (May 28)

The Overtones

"Praising the Lord in song," sharing our faith, and "being role models for youths." Those are three phrases The Overtones use to describe themselves. "Talented singers who harmonize beautifully," "wonderful Christian men," and "great guys who are fun to be with," are three phrases their fans use to describe The Overtones. Regardless of the words that tell their story, one thought overwhelms the listener as he or she attends any concert involving The Overtones - "These guys can really sing!" These guys are John Deboy, brothers Augie and Paul Pence, and Levi Riggs. All in their 20's and either graduates or were once students of Purdue University, The Overtones have been making great music for more than seven years. (Sept. 27)
