Adaptation of best-selling book series by Barbara Park.

Junie B. Jones, First-Grader, is super-excited about the upcoming Holiday Sing-Along and Secret Santa gift exchange at her school. Too bad tattletale May keeps ruining all of Junie B.'s fun. So when Junie B. draws May's name for Secret Santa, she comes up with the perfect plan to teach her nemesis a lesson! But will the Christmas spirit of peace and goodwill interfere before she can give you-know-who what she deserves? A hilarious and endearing tale based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park.
"Peace on Earth and goodwill toward men does not come easily to everyone"... even around the holidays. Learning to be a giver and not be "shellfish" can be a hard concept. This show has a brilliant way of showing how a little kindness can make all the difference. I agree with Mr. Scary, giving to someone, especially someone you don't really care for, is like giving a gift to yourself. There's no better way to feed your soul! I’m a firm believer that children are the future and we, as a theatre community, need to continue to reach them and nurture them.
I am overjoyed to be directing another show based on the lovable little diva named Junie B. Jones! This production has brought me so much joy, and I have been blessed to collaborate with such a wonderful cast and crew! I've loved watching these actors bring these fun characters to life from the written page. We hope you have just as much fun as we're having onstage! We hope you enjoy our production and thank you for coming to support live theatre at MDT!
