Myers Dinner Theatre Opens Its 2020 Season With The Jones, Hope & Wooten Comedy, The Savannah Sipping Society!
In this delightful, laugh-a-minute comedy, four unique Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, are drawn together by Fate – and an impromptu happy hour – and decided it’s high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they’ve lost through the years. Over the course of six months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover lasting friendships and a renewed determination to live in the moment – and most importantly, realize it’s never too late to make new old friends.
Welcome to our 24th Anniversary Season! When they first opened the doors 23 years ago, Richard and Donna never dreamed that they would grow this business into one of the top ten destinations in Fountain County! We have welcomed thousands of guests into our family over the years, and although our theatre and staff have evolved, the core set of values Myers Dinner Theatre prides itself on has remained blissfully intact. Whether you are joining us for the first time, or a returning guest, we always delight in welcoming you to Hillsboro. In an era where technology isolates us, and politics thrive on divisiveness, it becomes more necessary than ever for us to realize that underneath it all, we are capable of kindness, generosity, love, and binding together as a family to share in the joy of our community. There is no better way to accomplish this than by watching Art come to life in a theater. I am deeply grateful to all of our Patrons for continuing to support our “Little Theatre That Could,” and we hope you will enjoy our 2020 Season!
