Returning Alumni Michael Moyer and Ginny Pugh Spillman Headline Love Letters, To Open Myers Dinner Theatre’s 25th Anniversary Season!
A unique and imaginative theatre piece which, in the words of the author, “needs no theatre, lengthy rehearsal, special set, or even memorization of lines. The piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny, but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.

Welcome to our 25th Anniversary Season! We are coming out of an incredibly difficult year for our business and community. We managed to remain standing in a year when countless Arts institutions were forced to close their doors. This is due, in no small part, to our devoted Patrons. If you had not believed in our little business and continued to come see our shows throughout 2020, we simply would not be here today. We promise to reward you with a Silver Celebration that you won’t soon forget! Whether you are joining us for the first time, or a returning guest, we always delight in welcoming you to our Hillsboro family. In an era where technology isolates us and politics thrive on divisiveness, it becomes more necessary than ever for us to realize that we are capable of kindness, generosity, love, and binding together as a family to share in the joy of our community. There is no better way to accomplish this than by watching Art come to life in a theater. I am deeply grateful to all our Patrons for continuing to support our “Little Theatre That Could,” and we hope you will enjoy our 2021 Season!
