Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter
Book by Sam and Bella Spewack
Directed by Jason Newkirk

Life imitates art in this classic hit about a small company of actors trying to turn Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew into a musical comedy. MDT favorites Linnéa Leatherman and Michael Moyer star as the feuding stars of the ill-fated production, whose own relationship closely mirrors that of Petruchio and Katherine from Shakespeare's play. The score is by Indiana's own Cole Porter at his best. Featuring songs like “Why Can’t You Behave?,” “Always True to You in My Fashion,” “I Hate Men,” “Too Darn Hot,” “Wunderbar” and “So In Love,” this is one show you will not want to miss.
