March 22: The Nelons
MDT is thrilled to announce an afternoon with The Nelons. Their accomplished musical career and ministry includes: six DOVE Awards, three GRAMMY nominations, several “Number One” songs on the radio charts, a prestigious New York Film Festival Bronze Award, numerous Singing News Fan Awards, and appearances all around the world in various venues. The Nelons are currently wrapping up production for their latest project “You Are God” and just finished recording two Gaither Homecoming Videos soon to be released. Focused and grounded in the Word of God, the Nelons are a refreshing change of pace, in a self-centered society. “We know that we are nothing apart from the grace of God, and want to share His gospel with whomever God allows, bringing more worshippers to our Great God!”
April 17 & 18: The Tenors Three
Join us for two special evenings as opera singers Paul Pitts and Paul Radalescu and MDT favorite Michael Moyer again join forces with zany pianists Scott Griffin and Alan Tripp to bring you a concert of gospel, classical and Broadway music. Please make reservations soon for this wildly popular event at Myers Dinner Theatre.
May 14: The Pfeifers
The Pfeifer family is one that knows the true meaning of the term, “fighting on!” The Pfeifers have been pressing forward and fighting on in their walk with Christ for over 70 years. In the 1930s, their grandfathers began singing together and traveling to camp meetings and tent revivals all across the state of Ohio. Years later the torch was passed on to Don Pfeifer, and in 1979 when his daughter, Candy, decided to leave college and form a musical group with several of her long-time friends, her father was supportive and encouraging, even allowing the group to accompany him on crusades. That group, known at the time as The Believers, eventually became the group that today is collectively known as The Pfeifers. Over the years, the ministry of The Pfeifers has evolved and experienced change; however, God’s anointing and blessings still remain. The group travels in excess of 150 days each year, sharing the message of the Gospel in song in churches, concert halls, auditoriums and arenas.
June 28: The Overtones (Matinee and Evening Shows)
One of the youngest and most popular groups in gospel music returns to MDT for two concerts, matinee and evening. John DeBoy, 19, Augie Pence, 19, Paul Pence, 21, and newest member Levi Riggs, 22, are on fire for the Lord. They have been invited to the Gold City Homecoming in North Carolina and will be recording a new album in Nashville, TN. We are thrilled to have them return to Myers Dinner Theatre this year.
August 2: Hoosier Harmony
Called together by God to spread the Gospel through music, Hoosier Harmony sings about 100 concerts and services every year. Based in Central Indiana, they were formerly known as The Lordsmen Quartet, which ministered throughout the U.S. for over twelve years. This quartet has been blessed to be called to sing from Michigan to Tennessee, Missouri to Ohio, and all the states in between. They desire that their music would uplift the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring a message of hope for us all.
September 13: The Overtones (Matinee and Evening Shows)
The boys return for another two concerts, matinee and evening. Don’t miss this incredibly popular quartet!
October 25: Triumphant Quartet (Matinee and Evening Shows)
Triumphant Quartet returns to MDT for two concerts, matinee and evening. “Christ is the reason we sing” proclaim the members of the group. Their mission is to share the Word of God through song and share the good news of Christ with other believers. Formed in 2003 as the Integrity Quartet, they performed full-time at the Louise Mandrell Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN. In 2004 they changed their name to Triumphant Quartet. Every year the Quartet has been nominated for awards, including a Number One hit on the U.S. Gospel News Top 80, a Christian Music Presenters Artist Endorsement, and certification as American Gospel Music Artists. In 2008 they have decided to take their ministry on the road full-time. Through the power of their beautiful harmonies, they testify to those who are searching and lost, with the hope that more souls will come to know Christ.
